My husband was walking out of QFC in Sequim at 10:15 a.m. one day, and was hit by a drunk driver. Fortunately, the incident was witnessed by several people and they made sure the driver stuck around. By the time the police arrived, the driver simply confessed to the officers. But that's just the beginning. Now what? While I was sitting at the ER with my husband, I started searching for law firms. Over the next few days, I interviewed a few of them. We even hired one, and that was a waste of previous time. After a month had gone by, I called to interview Urquia. In the first few minutes of talking with Eva, I felt so at ease. We discussed the case, the particulars, and she answered every question. From day one, we were treated with dignity and respect by all members of the law firm. Eva kept in regular contact with us and walked us through every step. There's no way we could have done any of this without her. (My husband's left wrist and right knee are trashed. Another year passed, and on the two-year anniversary of my husband's accident, our insurance company settled. We feel comfortable now knowing that we'll have enough money to handle any special care needs or any experimental treatments that might come up. We could not have done this without Eva and Urquia Law. **NOTE: We've even sent three more people to them, and each one has thanked us. They've gotten the same care that we received. DO NOT CALL ANYONE ELSE! Trust me! :)
Rafael and his staff are excellent in all that they do; with effective ongoing communication, work and successful outcomes! I had all but given up on securing appropriate legal representation and advocacy with my case when I met Rafael. Rafael and the Urquia team were great support pieces and wonderful to work with, allowing me to put a pin in an unfortunate accident that resulted in long term injuries. I was hesitant/embarrassed to call because I had let things drag out and was running out of time to settle, and assumed I could do it on my own. But after trying to work directly with the insurance companies, I quickly learned that I was in over my head.
I reached out to Urquia Law and walked them through my accident and injuries, and Rafael and team were able to swoop in and take the lead. They were great advisors throughout the process and I couldn't have been more satisfied with the outcome. After being hit from behind by another car while stopped at a crosswalk for passing pedestrians, Urquia Law was dogged in getting a fair settlement from two insurance companies (mine and the "at fault" driver's) for injuries sustained and needed medical attention.
