Lesa has a good understanding of the law. The problem is you can never get ahold of her, she is simply M.I.A in almost every scenario. We have had a property line dispute for a few months now and received Interrogatories. There is a deadline, and have yet to here back after multiple emails. I hope this review will help her self evaluate and take as constructive criticism.
I first used Lesa's office in 2008 when I purchased a piece of property. Over the years since I have used her office many times for purchase, sale , easements, and advice. Always clean, simple, and honest solutions. Thanks Lesa.
I used to be a paralegal and I have worked with many lawyers. I know a good one when I see one. We were one of the parties in a simple land contract that Lesa handled. Lesa is the most incompetent lawyer I have ever used. She made mistake after mistake, and our simple land contract took ONE YEAR to finalize. She was always "out of the office" when I called, and I always had to call or email multiple times before I ever got a response. And when our "final" paperwork was finally filed and recorded, we were sent a copy from the Land Title company. In that document, where she was supposed to put a due date that was 10 years from the initial contract date, she put a date that was 2 years from the initial contract date. So the document is still not correct and I am still trying to resolve this. It has been a year and a half since we started work on this contract. I sent an email about the incorrect date in the recorded document on November 9th, 2018. Four months ago. Do you think I've heard back? Nope. Accuracy, details, and communication: Those are the things you expect from a good lawyer. If that is what you are looking for, you need to look elsewhere.

6 years agoWe did one "real estate transaction" and a "Will" with Lesa and she did an excellent job for us. Very easy to work with, very comfortable atmosphere.
