Everyone here has been amazing. Nit your typical court appointed attorneys. They really care and they do a great job of holding you accountable and helping resolve your case. I have never had anyone I dealt with here be anything but helpful and friendly so long as I was helping myself and doing my part. Thanks to all of you.

Neil Anderson so far has been a pretty great public defender for my fiance. He is fairly quick to respond to either my emails or phone calls. Furthermore, he hasn't shown dereliction of his duties. Thank you Neil.

Thank you so much for being our attorney, Amber Cognata! Thank you for helping us to go through my case, we are so blessed to have you as our defense attorney! Thanks for fighting for my justice, and my rights, Thanks for your professional advice, your hardworking on my case, and your kindness to keep me calm during the process, your professionalism makes the precess look so simple and stress free. On top of everything, you are so generous, and never ask anything in return. You are really my angel! I would recommend Vancouver defenders to anyone that I know, because of your professional attorneys and services!

Katie Kauffman was assigned as public defender for my 69 year old brother who was charged with felony assault 2 - strangulation. Ultimately, Katie was able to get a plea deal with charge reduced to 4th degree assault - misdemeanor! Although the prosecutor wanted to keep the no contact order in place, Katie was a master in arguing against the no contact order and the judge agreed with her. Katie got the best outcome we could ask for without going to trial. Katie is so good at what she does, I had no worries with her taking my brother’s case to trial. I highly recommend Katie, she is the very best!!

Unfortunately their case load must be so insane they can't handle any of them properly. Stands up to the name Public Pretender. I feel if they were funded by the state like the DA is, they could actually handle their cases. As it stands, however, they simply cannot handle the profession.
