I rarely give negative reviews, I believe everyone can have a bad day but at the end of that day, how you treat people, especially those looking to you for help in the field you chose shows your true colors. These people are supposed to help vulnerable people navigate through confusing legal matters but they cannot be trusted. I got matched with Christopher Hoxie through my legal insurance, I called several times spanning through weeks, I never received a call back but did end up getting an answer to one of my many calls, they set me up with an appointment over the phone with him, on that day I waited twenty minutes and called them instead, they put me through with Lori because Chris was out of the office during our scheduled meeting, she was very helpful and insightful but unfortunately not covered by my insurance. I called back as my case progressed to a certain point and managed to get a hold of Mr.Hoxie, he was rude, he did not listen to me, it felt like he was rushing me and he spoke to me as if there was no reason to pursue my case. like it was a waste of time and there was no chance I would win. Every question I asked Mr.Hoxie was answered with a statement about him getting paid and deadlines for getting paid, when I asked him questions about my insurance paying him he brushed me off. I do not recommend this law firm.

Mr. Christopher Hoxie has been my lawyer since October 2020 and he has been nothing but awesome! He has held my hand through my divorce with compassion and knowledge, helped me move back home to Louisiana with my kids, and is still showing up in court for things that come up. I would 10000% recommend using Clearwater Law Firm!

AVOID THIS FIRM! In October 2023, Hoxie was formally reprimanded by the Washington State Bar. If I would have know the past behavior, I would have never hired them. $5,000 to absolutely do nothing, staff are incompetent of communication. Over billing, poor communication, negligence, and documents filed late to the courts. First attorney that took my case left the firm with no communication, until I called 2.5 months later to request a case update. Instead of returning my money for negligence they forwarded my case to Hoxie, who also couldn’t even communicate or do what he was being paid for. 2024-2025 nothing was completed for this case, besides headaches and unprofessionalism. DO NOT HIRE THEM!

My husband was recently approved for his residence. Maria was our paralegal who helped us through the whole process. She is amazing, very helpful, and well-organized. She kept us calm throughout the process and always answered my questions. During my husband's immigration interview, everybody was impressed with the package Maria prepared, which included all his appointments and paperwork needed for the interview at Ciudad Juárez. Although we were a little disappointed that we didn't meet with the lawyer, Maria was always there to help us through the process. Thank you Maria

Before hiring this firm we did all of the leg work. Documented everything for the court in an organized fashion by date and submitted all of the declarations, filled out the paperwork and even submitted to teh court. Hired this attorney because we felt the court would take us more seriously with representation than without given how solid our case is. Literally handed them the case on a silver platter. Even the attorney stated we did an amazing job and "no need to reinvent the wheel". All they had to do was resubmit the paperwork with them as our representation and the other party was to be served that week. This was in October. Did not hear back from them and asked for an update in November. Was told again they were getting ready to file. No update but we were being patient around the holidays for obvious reasons but we get a letter stating the attorney had left in December and that a new attorney was being appointed and would be in contact. Again nothing from the firm but a notice he was going on vacation for two weeks. Nothing after that but an invoice for February for 600 dollars. For what? They hadn't done anything since October/November. We reached out again and for an update and was told the attorney would call us. At our sheduled appt time the attorney never called. I had to call in to the firm 20 minutes into the 30 minute meeting. The lawyer stated he hadnt even had a chance to look at our case and it was dumped on him after the other attorney left. Then why the 600 dollar charge for February? We were promised a summary by end of week. Nothing. Crickets. Now i get an invoice not only charging us for asking for updates, we were charged for teh full meeting with teh attorney that only lasted 7 minutes. We have now reached a point where our case has been stalled so long, the information isnt even relevant anymore and all of our hardwork on this is down the drain. I asked to dispute the charges mentioned above, no response. We will be ceasing our relationship with this attorney and starting over.
