I'm thoroughly impressed with Grifan Cayce as a lawyer and as a human. I've been a lawyer for over 30 years, and I am always delighted when I have a chance to refer a client to Grifan for an estate planning issue, because I know from experience the client will be incredibly well-served. Grifan is engaging and tenacious, detail oriented, and her subject matter expertise is terrific. And, for me, of tremendous importance is that Grifan has a brilliant sense of humor, coupled with true empathy - a rare combination of that whole "human" thing that is so important and so frequently kicked to the curb by lawyers. Grifan was wonderful to work with. She assisted us with a landlord dispute wherein the landlords were untrustworthy, unethical and in complete defiance of landlord/tenant laws. She resolved the matter successfully and to our complete satisfaction. She was professional, knowledgeable but also very direct which was exactly who we needed representing our interests.

I had the pleasure of working with Grifan Cayce. She assisted me in negotiating a commercial lease on short notice. She was incredibly thorough and was able to explain everything I did not understand. I feel confident I know exactly what I am getting myself into and am aware of the risks. She is very prompt in her responses through either email or phone and kept me in the loop whenever it would take her a while to get back to me. She is very pleasent to talk to and answered every single questions I had. And I had a lot. She took my legal obligations to the lease as seriously as I did. She was to the point and never wasted a moment of my time. Though fees for legal advice can often seem shockingly high, every penny is well spent in this situation. I feel my future is more secure due to her being involved with a contract that will strongly affect the next three years of my life. I would recommend her to anyone including my own family. And I have! And not to leave out the office staff. When I first called and talked to the receptionist, she made absolutely sure that Grifan got in contact with me though she was out of the office for the day. Within what seemed to be minutes, I got a phone call from Grifan to work out the details of my needs. All around, this is literally the best experience I have ever had with legal council. After a phone consultation in which I was seeking advice as to whether or not my mother’s Will needed to be revised, Kam generously offered to review my mother’s Will. No fee for this service was mentioned. After not hearing back from him for over a week I called him and left him a message and sent him an email saying I was willing to pay him for the review. He never responded.
