When my sister died last year, I knew I needed a good lawyer to walk us through the steps for her estate. We didn't have a will, so I knew it would take the right lawyer to handle everything. We wanted a lawyer who was local to where my sister had lived that could refer us to a good realtor when the time came to sell the house and guiding us through all of the court documents needed. I had randomly left messages at a few legal offices and Melisa was the first one to call me back from Bell & Davis PLLC. She was able to get me set up for a zoom meeting with the lawyer as I live over 1,000 miles away. They were all absolutely amazing to work with and getting me all of the documents that needed to be completed and handling all of the court filings for us. They referred us to an awesome realtor who found people to clean the house and do a few updates to sell quickly. I am so grateful for all of their hard work in helping us. Five stars is not nearly enough for them. I would absolutely recommend using this law firm to handle any Estate issues whether you are local or across the country to guide you through everything.
I wanted to have a trust and will prepared before surgery, less than 2 weeks away. They agreed to expedite this and got it done and signed before my surgery. Besides being efficient, they were very caring.
Bell and Davis were prompt, professional and thorough in
their handling of my sister's estate from her death through probate. They returned my emails and phone calls promptly and always had solutions and answers to my questions.
Bell and Davis Law provided me with the help and guidance I needed to close out the estate plan that I was a trustee of. There were so many details I had no idea of, let alone completing them. Mr. Davis was very knowledgeable and experienced when he explained the details and steps we needed to take to comply with Washington state laws. Keeping everything flowing on the frontside was Melisa who was also a huge help. She was knowledgeable, organized, and proficient in keeping the process moving forward.
I was really impressed with how easy they made this experience, in fact, I decided to go back to have my own estate plan put in place. My only regret was that I wish I had gone in sooner rather than wasted time trying to figure it out on my own.
We had an Arizona Family Trust Updated to a Washington based Trust. Jeff did a great job, was timely, and explained everything. The cost was much less than our trust in Arizona.
Recently we thought we needed to update a section of the trust and we went back to Jeff. He explained why we didn't need to spend the money to make the change. Wow, a lot of attorneys would have just made the change and charged accordingly.
I highly recommend Jeff Davis.
