I was recommended to Brian Barnes at Budd Bay Law by a friend, and it was one of the best decisions I made during the divorce process. Brian and his team were excellent to work with. Brian communicated clearly, made me aware of what was going on. Brian was also very good at giving advice to help me make sure I got the best outcome for my case and not letting my emotions get ahead of me. He was also very aware of billing and costs, and worked very efficiently. Brian created a fair and amicable conversation around the process with the opposing party and while I can't say divorce is fun, I can say that Brian and his team were the best to work with and I am very grateful for their help.
Most people do not feel "good" about needing a lawyer, in our family's case (three) however Budd Bay not only made this not so fun process a bit easier but they are Really good people. They care about you, your family and the case. The work as a team to try to get the best results possible and the communication is above and beyond. I would recommend anyone to Budd Bay if the services lined up. We worked with Brandon, Brian and Eric. Also the backbones Dakota, Olivia and Maria... Thank you all so much.
I reached out to Bud Bay Law looking for appropriate counsel, I was paired with attorney Justin Huxford & legal assistant Olivia Drivas, They were both SO SO wonderful to work with. Their process was seamless, they gave me realistic options of what to expect, were very prompt, communicative, and caring, with their help I won my case! 5 stars is not enough! Thank you so much Justin & Olivia, I owe you and BudBay everything!
I normally don't post reviews but am overly compelled to do this time. I hired Scott Kee to try to recoup some money that was stolen from me by a contractor that never performed any work he was contracted to do. Scott basically took my money and told me he was processing a lawsuit through Thurston County courts to sue this person for my money. Well, many months went by and I never heard a word from Scott or their office except to receive constant invoices asking for more money. When I repeatedly asked what was happening, and why I was being charged more money, but having heard nothing from them, I got attitude in return. In fact, I'm going to copy and paste the attorney's actual quote in the message he sent me. I was begging for their help to recover over $50k that was stolen from me. Essentially, it seems as though they stole money from me too. Our last interaction I asked him what to do, and his response was this, "We need to get the company personally served with the lawsuit to seek a judgment. We tried, unsuccessfully, with the process server. My next step would be to get a private investigator to track him down. Open to suggestions though."
Open to suggestions? I hired an attorney to help me through the legal process, obviously I'm not a legal expert. So when I ask for help and an update to where my money is going, your response is "Open to suggestions." Seriously!?!?! Seriously!?!?!
The final straw is that when I rose concerns that my attorney was asking me for suggestions, they dropped me as a client. Ha! What a total joke! Terrible at your jobs, and when you get called out you drop the client. Now that professionalism at it's best.
Budd Bay Law demonstrated exceptional expertise in handling my complex case, always keeping me informed and advocating strongly on my behalf, honest on their services resulting in a positive outcome. I was extremely impressed with Atty. Brandon Koenig together with his team Olivia Drivas for clear timely communication and ability to explain intricate legal issues in a way I could easily understand, making me feel confident throughout the process. I highly recommend Budd Bay Law no doubt about it. Chelsea at the front desk was also so kind and helpful.
