I’m genuinely disturbed by how my consultation experience unfolded. The consultation only lasted 30 minutes because I asked for a refund, he offered half back, meaning I still paid $187 for just half an hour. Considering I’m currently unemployed, that’s not a small amount. It felt like I paid to be talked over and dismissed, not supported.
If someone is paying $375 for just one hour, it’s reasonable to expect professionalism, empathy, and thoughtful advice. Instead, I walked away feeling dismissed, invalidated, and, frankly, insulted.
Patrick K. made me feel completely unheard. He cut me off multiple times as I tried to explain the details of my situation, showing little patience or interest.
At one point, he said something along the lines of, “Everyone has some form of mental illness,” which came off as incredibly dismissive. Whether or not those were his exact words, the message was clear: my concerns weren’t being taken seriously. Emotional intelligence may be marketed as a business skill now, but it should be a natural part of being human. Unfortunately, his response made it painfully obvious, he lacked both.
Comments like that are part of the problem, not the solution. This kind of attitude is exactly why so many people hesitate to seek help in the first place.
For a firm that charges premium rates, I expected far more than rushed judgments and generalized, insensitive remarks. It’s disheartening that in 2025, we still encounter professionals who treat mental health with such disregard. I left with more frustration than clarity and $187 lighter. Shameful. I would NOT recommend Patrick K. for Employment law. Seek elsewhere that’s provides a free consultation.

I’m standing by my original experience, but I’m updating this to reflect how Jason handled the situation. He stepped in with professionalism, kindness & empathy. He asked how the situation could be made better, he gave me an option if I wanted to explain more of my experience and that alone, gives a safe space for clients to want to express themselves more. Jason provided referrals to another attorney & my full refund. That’s how you do business with purpose, not just for profits.
You won’t always get exactly what you came for, but people will always remember how you made them feel. Jason understood that.
Premier Law Group is an outstanding team of knowledgeable and compassionate attorneys. Jason Epstein, Kristi Marino, and Imani Pugh helped my wife and me after we were hit by a car while walking as pedestrians. From the beginning, they made our health and recovery a top priority, ensuring we received proper medical care and support.
They walked us through every step of the legal process with patience and clarity, giving us peace of mind during an incredibly stressful time. Thanks to their guidance, we never felt overwhelmed or in the dark. We’re truly grateful for how they took care of us and helped us get back to normal. Highly recommend!
Jason, Kristi, and the entire team have been very helpful since day one. They genuinely care for you and take the time out of their schedule to answer any and all questions to educate you and help you with whatever you need. Highly recommend. No one better.
I was in a bad accident and Jason and his crew were so supportive and helpful. They were very communicative through the whole process. This is my first time needing a lawyer and I was not sure how long the process would take. I often had questions and they were always easy to get ahold of and took as much time as I needed to answer all my questions and kept me updated every step of the way. Everything was via teleconference or through their app, I didn't need to see them in person if I didn't want to. I truly appreciate all of their help and am happy with the outcome.
Once again Jason and his wonderful staff have taken care of me and gotten me through another difficult time. This is the second time I have worked with Premier Law Group, and I went back to them due to the way they handled my case last time.
Jason never shy's away from telling you how it is and is always straight forward. It is his approach and honesty that originally drew me in to the company.
Every step of the way Syuzanna has been responsive and on top of coordinating my calls to the office. She is quick to respond to any emails and stays on top of every task involving your case.
I was a little nervous about having a different attorney this time around, but Kristi quickly became one of my favorite people to talk with. She was always great about spending extra time with me and really went above and beyond to hear my concerns and my fears. Kristi was so great, I also reached out to her for a separate issue involving my child. Going through a motor vehicle accident is difficult, going through a second one I didn't even think twice about calling Premier Law. I went through the entire pandemic and lockdown with Premier Law and they were with me every step of the way. And this second time around, there was even more ease with everything. Premier Law was a really great group of people to depend on that truly just wanted what was best for me and my children. I hope to not have to use an attorney again, but if for some reason I do, I already know where to go.
