I only received communication for initial contract signing after I was hit by an uninsured driver. I provided: footage of the accident from a local business and witness statement/ contact info from a former state patrol officer who witnessed the accident. It was a major financial burden, and after losing transportation, I unfortunately wasn’t able to get to work and didn’t qualify for an affordable rental due to my age. We then found out we were expecting shortly after the accident which made the car accident and even bigger financial burden and limited my ability to get to prenatal appointments.
My car was in the shop for about three months. By the time I got the car back, most of the burdens had been overcome, and the support I received from the firm was next to none.
I only ever received TWO emails and a couple texts asking about car insurance and health insurance information. There has not been any additional contact from the law firm. However, I’ve been receiving a long list of call from multiple chiropractors, orthopedics, and other offices almost daily asking to schedule appointments and that the law firm has been contacting them in regards to appointments that were never mentioned to me.
When I called to ask why there was no communication in regards to appointments with no communication with me I said I was no longer interested in continuing services and that it overall had not been helpful. The amount of appointments brought on more financial burden for missing additional work and it no longer made sense to continue services. Any money that would’ve came from a settlement would’ve been mostly wasted on unnecessary appointments at a financial loss anyways. I was told there would be a second call to confirm ending services. But that never happened. I received 5 calls that week regarding scheduling appointments because the law firm was continually contacting doctors offices to contact me.
